Bústaðu viðburðinn!Transmissions from a Dancer - Drawings and Paintings 2018-2026
Come into my world of magic.
Come inside, listen with eyes wide open.
A woman, reaching her right hand forth. Her grandson is grabbing her thumb facing the future. He is crowned with the wisdom of his ancestors, standing behind him as they are dreaming of freedom, peace and beauty with love in their hearts.
There is a precious little girl, in her love, approaching her father’s frozen heart. She is at the eye level to him carried by the beauty and love of life, past, present and future.
Opening: 17 October 13 -17
A warm welcome to celebrate my art with me!
Kvika Föld
Kvika Föld began her art studies in Sweden 1997,
studied at Iceland Academy of the Arts 2003 - 2009. She had 1 exhibition 2009 followed by a retreat of self discovery in Iceland.
Kvika Föld is born Hungarian in the Carpathian mountains of Transylvania. Her journey of compassionate enquiry, pealing the layers of ancestral hardship has been thorough and long. Dancing, painting, drawing and mind opening meditation has been her main support in her retreat alongside other forms of support. As she has stepped into grand motherhood, she is finally ready to actively exhibit her art alongside with facilitating creative dance spaces. Her art is intuitive, in connection with the innocent and wild nature of Iceland as well as her ancestral connection with flowering nature.
