New songs and stories by the sea

Þór Breiðfjörð performs new original material in a 40-minute concert at Síldarkaffi / Herring Café, where keyboards, acoustic guitar, songs and stories come together in the warm atmosphere of the old herring house by the sea in Siglufjörður.

The concert is part of the Vita- og strandmenningarhátíð festival in Siglufjörður, August 27–30, 2026.

It also serves as a prelude to “Stories of the Heart” in Kaldalón at Harpa on October 1.

The concert takes place upstairs at Herring Café. I’m grateful to the festival for making this concert free for everyone. Come and enjoy — and thank you, Vita- og strandmenningarhátíð!
