As part of the Voices of Vík: Language, Culture & Community project, we're inviting everyone (first come, first served) to enjoy a day of movies, popcorn, and community.
Whether you're bringing the family for an afternoon adventure or joining us later for an evening film, there's something for everyone.

This movie night is about more than just watching a film… It’s about creating opportunities for neighbors to connect, share experiences, make memories, and build a stronger countyside community. Whether you've lived in Vík your entire life or just recently arrived, everyone is welcome!
The featured movies will be announced closer to the event. Note: All required public performance licenses and permissions will be secured prior to the screenings.

About Voices of Vík: Language, Culture & Community, project is led by Ann Peters (awarded June 25, 2026). The Harpa Fund (Hörpusjóðurinn) was established by SASS in memory of Harpa Elína Haraldsdóttir. The impactful project will be carried out Aug '26 - July 2027.
