Fig Tape is a compelling force in the indie and alternative pop landscape, balancing early 2000s alternative rock energy with forward-thinking production. The Oslo-based project’s debut album, Forcefed Serenity (October 2025), earned a Spellemann nomination (Norwegian Grammy) in the Alternative Pop category. Since 2023, Fig Tape has been a staple on NRK P3 and drawn international attention from tastemakers like Zane Lowe on Apple Music.
Shaped by formative years in Berlin, the sound fuses euphoric club rhythms with guitar-driven pop, resonating globally through a sync in Netflix’s Young Royals.
Beyond the solo project, Fig Tape co-wrote and produced ILLIT’s charting single “Do the Dance” (HYBE Labels), and now writes and produces with international artists across LA, London, New York, and Stockholm.
