There are apparently at least three bands named Fur. Fur was a lady band from Australia in the 90s. They played alternative grunge type music. The second Fur was a punk rock band from New York City in the 90s. They were fronted by Holly Ramos who later went on to enjoy a successful career as a solo artist and an actress (Margarita Happy Hour, 100 Lovers of Jesus Reynolds, Get Lucky). Their self-titled CD is still available from cdbaby.com
