There are at least five artists named Nato:

(1) N.A.T.O. is a North-American improvisational sample-based noise duo comprised of NAO & TOdd [ellipse elkshow]... formed in 1999... part of the Buildings Building ThemselfVS media machine Artist Collective.

(2) NATO was formed in 1980 in Helsinki, Finland.They are used to known as a finnish hardcore punk band. They appeared on the first PROPAGANDA EP and album.

(3) nATo is a product of former tATu producer Ivan Shapovalov. nATo performs in traditional Muslim veil with male dancers in Prussian uniform. The hit Chorjavon entered the charts in 2005 and was followed by a full length album and a second single, Be Umide. nATo sings in Tajik. Chorjavon was first recorded in Russian by tATu, but never used. It tells the story of four brothers who venture into world, heedless of their old father's advice, and get in trouble because they wouldn't listen.

(4) Nato is also the name of a British metalcore band that released their debut album, Kill the Fox to Foil the plan, in 2007.

(5) Nato is also the name of an American rap artist, and the name of an album by Slovenian group Laibach.
