After releasing her debut album Heaven Knows in 2022, Mica Millar has quickly become one of the UK's brightest new soul stars, picking up dozens of rewards and gaining a lot of momentum in the press. Heaven Knows is self-written, arranged and produced, exploring themes of human nature, spirituality, love, oppression, inequality and empowerment, drawing inspiration from a plethora of vintage soundscapes, most notably, soul, blues, gospel and jazz.

Following two monumental album launch shows including a sold-out show at Jazz Café, London and a performance filling out the iconic Albert Hall, Manchester, Mica performed at EFG London Jazz Festival’s Jazz Voice at Royal Festival Hall with the backing of the 42-piece Festival Orchestra, broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 and televised on BBC 4. She has since announced her first national UK tour.
