Phil and The Blanks are a bunch of chancers chasing a pointless dream. There is something absolutely thrilling in watching four mates (who all appear to have been home-schooled by the same family dog), rise above their dead-end lives to pursue a rags to riches journey that will surely end in bitter confusion.
Still, these boys do seem to know their way around a half decent tune, and we Aussies don't mind an Aussie Battler story! Fuelled by a bopping groove and a taste for the simple things in life, this bunch of guys are mashing Dizzee Rascall with Weezer, just for the fun of it.
So go you Good Boys… Go! Go! Go!
