On the eve of the New Moon, as one cycle comes to a close and the sky turns dark, we gather in the space between what has been and what is yet to come.

On November 7, Yaima Music Project returns to Iceland for an evening of music, connection, and renewal.

☀️ The evening opens with Blessing, offering a grounding musical journey to prepare the space for YAIMA.

From the ancient forests and waters of Cascadia, Masaru Higasa and Pepper Proud weave together organic rhythms, instruments from cultures across the world, subtle electronic landscapes, and deeply evocative vocals.

Their music invites us to slow down.

To turn inward.

To listen more deeply.

To remember our connection to one another and to the living world around us.

The New Moon offers a moment of stillness — a time to release what no longer serves us, plant new intentions, and gently step into the unknown.

Tónlist Yaima er einstök og tímalaus og dansar á milli tjáningar hins karlæga og hins kvenlæga. Þau draga innblástur fyrir tónlistarsköpun sinni frá náttúrunni og er hún bæði endurnærandi, upplífgandi og róandi.
