Although they are less than one year old, lovehead are already turning heads among fans and feature pages across Germany. The trio from Burgenland in Austria consists of Anna, Elena, and Mara. The three musicians first met via Instagram in 2021 – and in true style, they simply formed a band straight away. Unbiasedness and positive vibes were therefore written into the band’s artistic DNA right from the start. After all, where there is an artistic will, there is also an artistic way, especially in these times. Their first single, ‘denkst du an mich?’, went viral immediately with six-figure streaming numbers, and its powerful and melodic indie rock sound is reminiscent of the heyday of the early bands from the Hamburg school: lo-fi sound design, quirky lyrics, lively hooks with singalong qualities – what more could you want? All those lucky people who have already seen lovehead live can confirm as much: This trio is well-rehearsed, has a defined groove, and is ready for a sweaty evening at the Reeperbahn.
