Madensuyu started their musical career by ending third in Belgian rock competition Humo's Rock Rally 2004, behind Absynthe Minded and The Van Jets. The word Madensuyu comes from Turkish and means "Mineral Water". The first EP (containing four songs) was released in 2005, dubbed Adjust We. In april 2006 their debut album, A Field Between, was released, containing the four tracks previously released on Adjust We, adding five new tracks. Madensuyu consist out of one drummer and one guitar player, Stijn "Ylode" De Gezelle and PJ Vervondel.
