Stephanie McIntosh was born on July 5, 1985 in Australia and is an Australian actress and singer. She is currently most famous for her role as Sky Mangel in the Australian soap opera Neighbours. She is the half-sister of Jason Donovan, himself a former Neighbours star, has two older sisters called Katherine and Olivia and her mother Sue McIntosh, is a former newsreader for ABC News.
For her role on Neighbours, she was nominated as the "Most Popular New Female Talent" at the 46th Annual TV Week Logie Awards held in 2004, but lost to Isabel Lucas from Home And Away.
Following the path of many Neighbours stars by diversifying into music, Stephanie released an album called "Tightrope" on September 9th. Glen Wheatley, Delta Goodrem's former manager, is managing the young starlet.
Her debut single "Mistake" written by Tom Nicols, Rami and Arnthor and was released on Saturday July 29th and debut at number 4 on the ARIA chart in its first week. The debut album, Tightrope, was released on Saturday September 16th, and made its debut on the ARIA chart at number 4. It went Gold. The album was rereleased with bonus songs in March 2007.
Before the albums release, Steph stared on a reality series "The Steph Show" which followed her around while making her album. A second series is in the works for 2007.
The 2nd single off the album was the title track "Tightrope" which peaked at #16. The 3rd single is "So Do I Say Sorry First?" which has so far peaked at #34. A 4th single is planned for June.
Steph has left her role on Neighbours has moved to the UK to release her album over there this year.
